Vadodara based Matrix Comsec wins two of world’s most prestigious design Awards Red Dot and IF Design Award 2011

Vadodara based Matrix Comsec won the most coveted design awards IF and Red Dot for its COSEC range of security products. Matrix Comsec is in the field of manufacturing Telecom and Security products and it indigenously designs, develops and manufactures these products. With this achievement Matrix becomes the only company in its field to have won two such prestigious awards for its security products. Matrix has won the Red Dot Award for its COSEC eDoor model and the IF Award for COSEC DOOR FCP model. COSEC eDoor is a next generation access control, time attendance RFID smartcard, and finger point terminal. It was designed to meet the growing need for physical access control, time attendance, pay roll, cafeteria management, library management, visitor management and cashless smart card payments. It is a feature-rich modern security product that fulfills safety and security requirements and offers higher productivity to any organization. It is equipped with a 7-inch WVGA resolution colour TFT and capacitive multi-touch screen. Matrix COSEC DOOR FCP is a premium door controller which records and controls entries and exists through various credentials like fingerprint, proximity cards and smart cards. It has advanced capacitive finger print reader and 9600 finger print storage capacity. It is also available with premium features like WI-FI, USB, touch sense keypad and dot Matrix LCD display. “Winning these two prestigious design awards exemplify Matrix strength in innovation. Winners of the “Red Dot”seal (given for exceptional design) and the international IF award are chosen by a highly renowned jury of experts and thought leaders for outstanding design and architecture. They examine the concepts and assess them according to criteria such as degree of innovation, realization possibility, functionality and usefulness, along with ergonomics and human interface. In the Red Dot Award Matrix COSEC was chosen from a field of 4,252 products submitted by over 1,636 international companies from 57 countries, while the IF design award comprised of 1,121 participants from 43 countries.
